Möchten Sie sich am liebsten den ganzen Tag im Wasser vergnügen? Dann empfehlen wir Ihnen den Wasserpark WaterWorks, der sich an Bord aller Carnival-Schiffe befindet. Die spiralförmige Wasserrutsche Twister Waterslide erwartet Sie in schwindelerregender Höhe und schickt Sie auf einer atemberaubenden Rutschfahrt hinab bis zu einer platschenden Landung im Wasser. Ausgewählte Schiffe haben parallel angelegte Rutschen, die ein spritziges Wettrutschen geradezu herausfordern. Tragen Sie besser eine sportlichere Badebekleidung wenn Sie in der Röhrenrutsche namens Speedway Splash hinunterrauschen: Diese Rutsche verfügt über hunderte Meter Action aufgrund der hohen Geschwindigkeiten und aussergewöhnlichen Beleuchtungseffekten. Die Röhrenrutsche DrainPipe endet mit einer weiten Schleife während die PowerDrencher Sie zum Schluss mit einem riesigen Eimer Wasser begiesst. Dieser Spass ist natürlich nicht nur für Kinder, sondern auch für all die Junggebliebenen an Bord. (Die Strukturen des WaterWorks Park sind je nach Schiff unterschiedlich.)
Wenn Familien mit der Carnival Cruise Line verreisen, haben selbst die Jüngsten eine wahrhaft grandiose Zeit an Bord. Dies ist vor allem dem sogenannten Camp Ocean zu verdanken. In diesem Camp werden (Klein-)Kinder zwischen 2-11 Jahren betreut, wo sie sich während Meeresthemen bezogenen Aktivitäten austoben und vergnügen können. Die Kinder werden in verschiedene Altersgruppen aufgeteilt und beaufsichtigt. Jedes Kind bekommt einen Aufkleber mit einem Motiv aus der Meereswelt, um den Kameradschaftsgeist auf hoher See zu fördern. Die Allerkleinsten (2-5 Jahre) können der sogenannten Pinguinkolonie beitreten und Aktivitäten wie Musical Icebergs und Ocean Bingo nachgehen. Sie werden auch ein paar Dinge über die Schwimmfähigkeit lernen. Die etwas älteren Kinder, von etwa 6 bis 8 Jahren, werden in die Gruppe der "Stachelrochen" eingeteilt. Sie vergnügen sich beispielsweise in der Nacht der Piratenspiele, bei der Herstellung von Kunstwerken aus Meersalz oder bei der Gestaltung von ihrem eigenen Aquarium. Kinder von 9 bis 11 gehören an Bord in die Gruppe der "Haie". Sie vergnügen sich mit Spielen wie Marine Life Trivia, beim Malen von riesigen Ozean-Wandgemälden und während Spiel- und Sportwettkämpfen. Unsere Betreuer haben alle Erfahrung in der Bildung und Betreuung von Kindern und sind dafür ausgebildet, jedem einzelnen in diesen kleinen Gruppen eine unvergessliche Zeit zu bereiten.
Im Ocean Plaza kommt alles zusammen: Live Musik, Kaffee, Snacks, Tanzmöglichkeiten und vieles mehr - ausserdem befinden sich gleich nebenan die besten Outdoor-Bereiche an Bord. Ein idealer Ort also um den herrlichen Sonnenschein und die Meerluft mit Genuss auszukosten. Wenn sich der sonnige Tag an Bord zu Ende neigt, verwandelt sich der Ocean Plaza in eine atemberaubende Nachtlokalität. Ob am Tag oder in der Nacht, im Ocean Plaza sind Sie immer am richtigen Ort.
