The construction of this structure occurred early 1750's by the Danish West India and Guinea Company. In the year 1753, this church was declared sanctified and 40 years later the baroque tower and cupola was assembled. This structure was once St. Croix's first Lutheran Church, a military bakery, community hall, hospital and a school.
