Where Carnival Cruises Go!
With more departures from the U.S. than any other cruise line, Carnival's biggest destination is the Caribbean, but they also have itineraries to other destinations as well:
- Eastern Caribbean: These are cruises from Atlantic seaboard cities to ports like San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and Nassau (Bahamas)
- Western Caribbean: Voyages from South Florida and Gulf of Mexico cities to ports like Key West, Cozumel, Belize and Grand Cayman, .
- Southern Caribbean: These itineraries are exciting becuase they typically include more (and more exotic) ports of call than the Eastern or Western Caribbean. They depart from San Juan (Puerto Rico) so you're starting your cruise deep in the Caribbean (and they are often less expensive than the Eastern/Western itineraries).
- The Bahamas: For a quick getaway, you can't beat Carnival's short cruises to the Bahamas. Leaving from multiple ports, they are the lowest priced cruises and packed with a lot of fun for just a little time and money!
- Europe: In 2013, Carnival will sail three ships, (
Carnival Legend,
Carnival Breeze and
Carnival Sunshine--currently the Carnival Destiny but will be renamed Carnival Sunshine in April 2013) in Europe on itineraries from 9 to 12 nights in duration. Sailing in both Northern Europe (from London) and the Mediterranean (from multiple ports) this will be Carnival's biggest year yet in Europe.
- Mexico: Sailing from Los Angeles, Carnival Cruises to Mexico range from 3 to 7 nights.
- Canada and New England: Sailing from Boston and New York, these are great family getaways that are close to home for a lot of peope.
- Alaska: Carnival's presence in Alaska is pretty modest with typically just one ship cruising roundtrip from Seattle (Alaska is a GREAT first-time cruise destination, especially for families)
- Bermuda, Hawaii, Panama Canal and Transatlantic: Carnival offers seasonal cruises to Hawaii from Vancouver and Los Angeles. They also have several Transatlantics to reposition their ships to Europe (spring) and from Europe (fall).
What's There to DO on Carnival Cruises?
