What is generally included in the price of a cruise?
As a general rule the cost of the cruise refers to the cruise price only. However, by the time your agent presents the Cruise Package Price to you, it will more likely include any necessary extras (e.g. taxes, port charges, air add on).
Included in the cruise price would be your room, all of the shipboard entertainment, like Las Vegas style reviews, pool games, deck parties, all meals (with the exception of some exclusive dining choices, which are optional and come with a fixed per person price), 24 hour room service, and non-alcoholic drinks except for sodas. Soda cards can be purchased on most cruise lines.

Taxes/Fees include any and all fees and taxes imposed by U.S. and/or foreign governments, including U.S. custom fees, head taxes, air taxes incurred as part of a land tour, inspection fees, immigration and naturalization fees, and Internal Revenue Service fees. Taxes/Fees also include port charges, which are fees assessed by government and other agencies, incident to the ship entering, leaving, docking, anchoring and/or remaining in port. Most cruise lines impose a port tax as well as a government tax. All fees are fully listed during the booking process.

How much of a deposit is required to hold my reservation?
The amount of deposit for your cruise will depend on when you make your cruise reservation and how long your cruise is:
If you have made a deposit for your cruise, the final payment will be charged to the same credit card used for the deposit. The cruise line determines the due date for final payment. We will automatically process the charge on that date.

No. We believe our customers should not have to pay extra to receive their cruise documents. For normal cruise documents we never change you any additional fee. In addition many lines are now moving toward "eDocs" (electronic documents) instead of paper tickets. You may receive an eDoc instead of a paper ticket.

Where are the best cabin locations on a cruise ship?
The best cabin location is really a matter of personal preference. Some travelers prefer an ocean view cabin on a high deck, while others prefer an inside cabin, or a cabin in the middle of the ship where they are less likely to feel the ships movement. Whichever cabin you decide upon, remember that none of the cabins are located under the ships water level, and they are all equipped with modern conveniences. Consult one of our Cruise Consultants to help you find the perfect fit.

Can I change a passenger in my cabin?
Many cruise lines will not let you change a passenger's name after you complete your reservation. If they do allow changes, a large fee will likely be tacked on to the change.

Are there any discounts for past passengers or seniors?
Generally, Cruise Deals prices are lower than the past passenger or senior discounts offered by the cruise lines. Sometimes, however there are restricted rates that you may qualify for, that would be less than the rates you see on our website. If you have questions, we recommend contacting us after you've booked your cruise and our agents will check to see if any further discounts may apply to your reservation.

Do children cruise free or at a discount?
Most cruise lines do not offer discounts for children. The major exception is Disney Cruise Line. On Disney ships (with 2 full-fare adults sailing), children under the age of 3 are charged only port fees and taxes; children ages 3-12 sail at a discounted children's rate plus port charges and taxes; children over the age of 12 sail at 3rd/4th passenger rate plus port charges and taxes.
Norwegian Cruise Line also allows children under 2 sail for port charges and taxes only; Holland America Line also may offer a lower rate for children under 18. These policies are subject to change at any time, so please contact us directly to verify.

Normally, you will receive your tickets within 2-4 weeks of your sail date. For last-minute bookings (within 30 days of sail date) tickets may be issued as pier-pickup (you pick up the tickets at the pier on the day of your sailing). In addition many cruise lines are moving toward "eDocs". EDocs are electronic documents that will replace the old paper tickets.
